Braves Win Opener in Close Fashion

The Braves pulled out a walkoff 2-1 victory last night vs. Pickering Red Sox. Kevin MacDonald got the opening day start and went 5.0 IP of shutout baseball. He was followed up by Austin O’Boyle for 1.0 IP who had to beat off a bit of the rust. Greg Hall threw the 7th inning clean, to give the Braves the opportunity to win it in the bottom of the 7th with  walk off double by Matt Allen scoring Chris Nolfi from 1st. Good team win getting good pitching, good defence and 4 SB. With only two hits in the game as a team, both runs were scored with properly executed situational hitting.
