High Park vs. Newmarket Clash Doesn’t Disappoint

Last night the High Park Braves went in to Newmarket for to date the showdown of the season. Braves started with AJ Padmore on the mound for the first two innings and he kept the Newmarket Bats limited. Then for the next 7 innings High Park went with a different pitcher for 1 inning all doing there part. Luke Bellus, Alex Tabascio, Kevin Hillsdon, Evan Ross, Greg Hall, Jacob Linhares and Kevin MacDonald. Unfortunately Newmarket capitalized on 4 errors by the Brave defence to score there 3 runs of the game all unearned. The offence couldn’t really gain any momentum all game only producing 5 hits but stranding 8 base runners while only scoring 2 and dropping the game in the bottom of the 9th on a error by shortstop Matt Voight which scored the winning run by Newmarket.

Pitching staff looked sharp for the club all night just pitching to contact and not missing very many spots.
