MacDonald throws CG to put High Park back in win column

Kevin MacDonald bounced back after surrendering two runs in the first inning to lock down the 15-5 win over Scarborough. MacDonald finished his 7 innings of work giving up 4 earned runs and fanning three Stingers’ batters.

Big offensive contributors tonight… Dennis Dei Banning is starting to find his swing again going 3 for 4 with three doubles. Taka Ryan was 1 for 2 and showed off his 20/20 vision walking three times. Chris Nolfi continued his hot start to the season knocking in a pair of runs finishing 1 for 3 on the night.

As great as these performances were, the game ball goes out to Julian Nolfi (cousin of Chris) for hitting the walkoff double in the 7th… finishing 2 for 3 on the night.

NOTE: Whitby double header @ Iriquois Park has been rained out. Those games will be made up at a later time. Kevin MacDonald is now tied for a team low 3 walks (through 14 innings) among High Park starters. The other leader in that category is Christian Pandoff (also through 14 innings).

NEXT UP: Monday, June 5th, 2017 @7:30 p.m. EDT vs. Oshawa Legionaires @ Kinsmen Park
