Exciting game in Newmarket, Hall dinged with loss

Christian Pandoff versus Austin Hassani. These two were showing off who the better Laurier pitcher is. Spoiler… they’re both pretty darn good! Newmarket got the better of High Park in the 8-6 comeback win for the Hawks. Pandoff threw 6 innings of 3 run ball allowing 6 hits, 4 walks along with 3 strikeouts. The High Park rookie handed the ball off to Greg Hall who surrendered 5 runs on 2 hits. Kevin Hillsdon came on to record the final two outs of the 8th. Hassani finished his 7 innings of work allowing 5 runs on 5 hits, striking out 4 and walking just 2.

It was a slugfest from an offensive perspective. The big guns: Mike Checchetto, Chris Procopio and Dennis Dei Banning crushing homers in this game all contributing to big rallies for High Park.
