A weekend filled with fun and games had one game that meant something right at the tail end. East York made the trip to Windsor to make this weekend a meaningful one. Sunday afternoon, A.J. Padmore was tasked with getting High Park out of Windsor with another win.
The boys showed up to take down the East York Bulldogs 9-1. Padmore’s line was 4 hits, 1 run, 4 strikeouts over 6 innings. This was a season low for him when working past the 4th inning. Greg Hall came in to shut things down in the 7th recording a strikeout.
Notable mention: Jordan Oats… after doubling down at the tables, he doubled down at the bat going 2 for 3 driving in a run and scoring twice. Lucas DaSilva was 2 for 2 with 2 walks and has proven to be a sturdy bat in the middle of Coach MacDonald’s lineup.
