7-4 Team Win vs. North York

Last night in North York the Braves were down 4-1 in the 7th Inning facing a tough pitcher from North York in Trevor Brigden. With two outs in the top of the 7th the Braves offense woke up and scored 4 runs to take a 5-4 lead. Greg Hall came on in the 7th inning and threw a clean inning behind arguably the best catch of the season by CF Chris Nolfi who leapt up and into the CF wall to take away a leadoff double. Kevin Hillsdon came on and pitched the 8th inning picking up the Hold and keeping the score at 5-4. In the top of the 9th the offense went back to work again putting 2 more runs across to take a 7-4 lead. Jake Linhares came on and picked up 3 strikeouts for the save and to help preserve Kevin MacDonald’s W, who went 6.0 innings in the start.
