Braves Hang In and Pick Up 5-2 Win vs. Vaughn

Last night in Vaughn, the Braves played a see saw game with Vaughn and held on and picked up the 5-2 Win. With a shortened bench it was a complete team effort, Luke Bellus made his first career start in Junior going 3.0 IP but settling for the ND. Evan Ross (1.0 IP), Greg Hall (2.0 IP W), and David Pham (1.0 IP SV) combined to throw 4 innings of earned run free baseball to hold the game at bay. The offence woke up in the 6th and 7th scoring 3 runs on 4 hits to solidify the win.

 

Big Offensive Games were had by Gabriel Nakonechny going 3-3 (2 Triples, 3 R), Chris Nolfi 2-4, Matt Voight 1-2 2RBI, and Austin O’Boyle 2-4 1 RBI.
